 Pohutukawa is connected to those who passed away.There souls turn into stars. She is looking after my sister Zalya,my koro Arthur and my cousin Louts. When you look up into the sky at night  you can see them. You can also see them when you close your eyes and say a karakia. So that's what Pohutukawa represents.
